Kanye West feat. Mr. Hudson - ‘Paranoid (Video Version)’

Went to the Casio party last night and got there just as Kanye to the was starting his set. Although there were a some excessively rant-y moments, and a few too many of the 3-4min songs were extended into 7-8 minute jam band-y breakdowns, all in all it was a pretty cool show; the guy definitely knows how to use visuals for his shows (there were these really sick LED screens that were moved by dancers behind him).

Far and away the biggest disappointment was the fact that Casio didn’t give out any watches this year in the giftbags. In fact, the gift bag was probably the worst one I had ever seen; its contents were:

  • A plastic G-Shock figurine
  • A CD that had a catalogue of Casio products
  • A phycial catalogue of Casio products

THAT’S IT. REALLY GUYS? LAST YEAR YOU GAVE OUT CUSTOM DESIGNED G-SHOCK WATCHES AND THIS YEAR IT’S THIS NONSENSE?! EESH.

Anywho, he did this version of ‘Paranoid’ and I realized that I liked it a lot more than when I had first listened through 808’s. Enjoy.
